PLDT myDSL, PLDT Watchpad a Fail? Customer Service Sucks!
Have you heard these lines for a thousand times?
"Your call is important to us, our service representatives are assisting other calls at the moment. Please stay on the line until a representative becomes available to take your call."
I have called PLDT 24/7 171/172 customer service / DSL helpdesk and for about 10-20 minutes (in several call attempt) I have heard these lines and really annoyed by this. Imagine last night I don't have an internet connection from 6PM till morning and tried to call them and no one could help me. No one is answering their help line. They should removed the hot line and tell their clients that if there are problems with the PLDT DSL connection, "just don't call and wait until it got fixed by itself!" I am really disappointed with this service and unfortunately I have no choice but to stay with this company because they almost (actually all) owned all the lines and source of the internet in the country.
They even bragging about their PLDT Watchpad where you could watch TV shows online which the first time that I could make use of it in the Pacquiao vs. Cotto fight and in my disappointment, it disconnected this morning saying I am offline and check my connection even the 2MBps PLDT connection Excite plan that I have is online. PLDT just don't care about their clients because they know that they don't have any competition at all. They knew that clients don't have any choice but to get their service just to have an internet service at their home. I never thought that this is really happening and how PLDT really sucks as other are saying online and even offline.
How can we have a better internet experience if the provider can't provide it? Even the government don't care about this internet instead they are more concern of their positions and don't make any law that will make a vast improvement in the internet connection of the country. What a life in PLDT DSL! If I just can have other internet connection other than this I will really discontinue this service. It really sucks!
