Mexico.

Mexico’s cuisine is known for being a mix of tastes and flavors, whether it’s sweet and salty, sweet and spicy or just plain hot- and Mexican candy is no different.

For instance, Tamarind is a tropical fruit used in a wide variety of candy. It can be as simple as a plastic spoon covered with pulp and sprinkled with chili, to a small container filled with sweetened tamarind that you push through small holes at the top to form spaghetti-like strands of candy. Read the rest of the article for more on the fun and original candy Mexican’s children (and adults) enjoy.
